Have you ever found yourself in a defeating pattern that seemed insurmountable? Have you ever been in a toxic relationship that would not end? Have you ever struggled to stop drinking coffee, stop smoking and stop eating unhealthy foods? Many times we know what we should be doing, but we just can’t seem to stay on course. The Apostle Paul said, “I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway” (Romans 7:19). He was referring to the struggle we have within ourselves to become all that God made us to be. Finally, Paul concluded that he would never win the battle, without Jesus!  It took me more than four decades to come to the same conclusion. Yes, I still have challenges, but today I know that I’m never alone. I have supernatural help. If you find yourself losing a battle, it’s never too late to ask Jesus (or God’s Holy Spirit) for help.  It works for me!
