One of the most astounding discoveries I’ve made during my divine health journey was the discovery that we (born-again believers) can stop physical pain.
Keep in mind that physical pain did not exist in the Garden of Eden. Remember, Adam and Eve never experienced any fear or pain until they committed sin. Pain was introduced when Adam and Eve fell under a curse as a result of their sin.
Thank goodness, through the death of Jesus Christ, we were redeemed from the curse of the law! Scriptures say this.
“But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing”Galatians 3:13, NLT
The net result of mankind being redeemed from this curse is that we no longer deserve sickness, disease, or pain because all of that was laid on Jesus Christ at Calvary.
Pain usually accompanies sickness. Therefore, when we heal illness, we do away with pain. Additionally, pain should be removed anytime it presents itself.
But how do believers get exposed to pain? First, unconfessed sin can remove believers from God’s protection. And finally, pain can be the result of our bodies breaking down from stress or lack of proper care.
At its core, our bodies use pain to warn us. It is a signal to take action!
THE MOST COMMON REASON PAIN PERSISTS
However, the most common reason pain persists is lack of knowledge. We have never been taught to resist the evil, sins, and physical neglect that ushers in sickness and pain.
What spiritual knowledge is required to stop the pain?
- Born-again believers must know that pain is not from God; it results from living in a fallen world.
- We must have the courage to rebuke the enemy, heal sickness, and cast out demons in the Name of Jesus. We can simply “command” pain to leave our bodies!
This may sound like a lot to do, but it’s not. We gain courage and skill from our Bible study. Additionally, there are many great books and messages on divine health.
When I experience sudden pain, I say, “Back pain, in the Name of Jesus – leave now!” This command can be given to any type of pain. I have experienced immediate relief many, many times. However, when relief was not immediate, I must continue resisting until the sickness, pain, or discomfort leaves naturally.
Like you, believers who live in divine health are sometimes attacked with recurring pain. However, they have trained themselves to follow God’s instructions (for natural relief) before they rely on drugs or the wisdom of man.
In the book “Crush Anxiety, Fear & Pain,” I’ve carefully outlined the biblical principles to alleviate pain naturally.
These principles allow believers to move from helplessness and dependence on drugs to the freedom to use God-given power to heal sickness naturally. Finally, remember the wise Words of Christ:
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”John 8:32, NLT
