Divine Healing In A Nutshell

Years ago, as I faced a severe health challenge, my most valuable asset was the Word of God. It was the Word of God (in the Bible) that caused me to fully recover. I went from feeling hopeless and being pushed around in a wheelchair to finishing a twenty-six-mile marathon. Through meditation on the Word of God, the Holy Spirit accomplished what I could hardly imagine doing by encouraging me to “just believe.”

The two keys to divine healing are these.

1) The Word of God (In the Bible)
2) Our Unwavering Faith in God’s Word

Divine healing is available for anyone willing to turn her entire heart to God, trusting Him above all else. This has been what I have experienced in my own life and the lives of others.

In the Book of Second Peter, it says that God has already given us everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). This means that whatever we need for divine healing, we have it at our fingertips right now. We lack nothing.

How can we know that God will heal us? Some of us are mature and have been suffering for years. Others have been told by prestigious doctors and devoted family that nothing more can be done. Most of us don’t even know anyone who believes in divine healing.

Here’s how the Lord introduced me to divine healing. As a young woman, my mother was saved, but I wasn’t. I didn’t go to church, but I was vexed by all the violence, heartbreak, and devastation in the world. It was at this point that the Holy Spirit inspired me to study the entire Bible to gain wisdom. At this point in my life, I only sought to understand how to escape the heartbreak that seems to engulf humanity.

As I studied the New Testament, I could not help but notice how loving and compassionate Jesus was. Everywhere Christ went, He healed people. Anyone who came to Him in faith, He healed them. In fact, Jesus stated that He only did what His Father God wanted Him to do (John 5:18-20).   In other words, God the Father wanted all these people (the saved and the unsaved) to be healed!

Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick (Matthew 14:14, NLT).
A vast crowd brought to him people who were lame, blind, crippled, those who couldn’t speak, and many others. They laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all (Matthew 15:30, NLT).

Years later, when I encountered the severe health threat, the Holy Spirit reminded me that Jesus healed them all. I heard of miracles of healing all over the earth today, so I knew that Jesus had not stopped healing.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8, NLT).

I had confidence that if Jesus was willing to heal anyone, He would heal me. Why not? My wonderful doctors did all they could, but still, I was weak, suffering medicine side effects and facing a life of ongoing medical care. As I laid in bed too weak to sit up for more than twenty minutes at a time, I decided that I would do whatever I needed to do to receive divine healing.

I knew that I might be considered odd or even crazy to believe in God for a miracle of healing. As I considered my options, they were two. I could remain sick and dependent on others to help me around, or I could believe God for a miracle. I decided to believe God for a miracle.

I began to re-read the Bible, and I ordered a large number of audio teachings on divine healing. I watched, read, and listened to healing testimonials. As I studied the Word of God, my faith, confidence, and physical strength increased. This trend continued.

Within the next year, I was out of the wheelchair and was able to resume normal activities of work and self-care. God took me off all medication, paid off thirty thousand dollars in medical bills, kept me financially afloat, and strengthened me to enter and finish a marathon. In addition, I completed ministry school. It was God’s Holy Spirit that accomplished the healing and restoration in my life.

I noticed that some people receive an instant miracle from God, while others receive progressive healing. Progressive healing has the advantage of teaching us to totally rely on God while increasing our faith and our knowledge of God’s ways. Since that time, I have witnessed and received instances of healing miracles as I have applied God’s Word.

I praise God for His faithfulness, and I’ve become very passionate about His ability to surpass all expectations in the realm of divine healing for our physical bodies. I know that “Nothing is impossible for God” (Luke 1:37, NLT).

The Bible tells us that God has no favorites. What He did for the multitudes that put their faith in Jesus, He will do for you. It doesn’t matter how many years you’ve been sick. It doesn’t matter how devastating your condition is. It doesn’t matter how old you are. It doesn’t matter how sinful your life may have been.

Jesus healed the blind, he cured all manner of sicknesses and diseases, he cast out demons, and he raised the dead. Christ died on the cross so that we would be saved, healed, and freed from all forms of bondage, which includes illness. God heals us because of His loving compassion for us and because of His Biblical Covenant promises to us. Christ has already paid for our healing, but we must take possession of it through faith

If you have pain in your body or your doctors have done all they can, but you are still being treated for a disease,I would like to ask you three important questions.

  1. Will you believe God for complete healing and wholeness? I didn’t say “can you,” I asked, will you?
  2. Are you willing to trust in the Word of God more than you believe in any human authority and more than you trust your own five senses?
  3. Are you satisfied with your Christian walk, or will you dare to believe God for more?

The Bible says, “He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20, NASB).  God’s healing Word is available now to accomplish what no man can accomplish. We are not waiting on God to heal us, He is waiting on us to take possession of what He has already given us.

Extinguish Anxiety Naturally – 10 Proven Interventions

Gail-King-Extinguish-Anxiety-Naturally-10-Proven-Interventions

Anxiety and stress attack most of us. Here are ten strategies that will help keep the blues off your doorstep! Unbeknownst to many, there are proven drug-free and biblical approaches to obtain and maintain mental health.

Here are tested strategies that I use to alleviate attacks of anxiety, worry, and stress. When I feel overwhelmed, I know that I must take immediate control over my thought life. Satanic attacks begin on the battlefield of the mind – through deception.

Jesus gave us the power to drive out every demonic influence that seeks to over-power us. We are not victims. The Bible says, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:2). Scripture also says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). The spiritual forces of knowledge and truth will obliterate feelings ofoverwhelm, fear, anxiety, stress, and panic.

It does not take weeks, months, or years to gain control of our minds – naturally. It takes trust in Jesus, faith in the Word of God, and the willingness to use the Word of God as consistently as we would take a medical prescription.

The below practices may sound too easy. Yet, these are the very tools that God used to turn my entire life around, to heal my mind, my broken heart, and my physical body. I could never experience the priceless benefit of daily peace of mind if I had been unwilling to listen to God or to obey.

The enemy may say to you, “You don’t have time, or it won’t work for you,” but that is a lie – don’t fall for it! Have you ever got up earlier to prepare for a necessary appointment? Have you ever stayed up later talking on the phone, dating, or watching TV? We make time for everything we truly want to do.

Wipeout fear, worry, stress, and anxiety by incorporating the following practices into your daily routine. If you do these things, I promise you that anxiety will lose its grip on your life. You can live a life that is characterized by peace and joy. Make these practices habitual. Memorize them, absorb this list and be able to turn to these spiritual tools at a moment’s notice.

1)    LEAN ON JESUS.  1 Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.” This means that we must give all our worries to Jesus and leave them there – once and for all. The human body was not designed to carry negative emotions. Worry is a sin of unbelief (in God), but we can decide to put it down and use our faith to trust in Christ. When I’m tempted to worry, I will say out loud, “Jesus, I love you, and I trust you.”

2)    DAILY BIBLE STUDY IS OUR MOST POWERFUL WEAPON AGAINST ANXIETY. We don’t understand the power of daily Bible study until we begin to practice it. The Lord said, “Meditate on my Word day and night, and you will be successful in everything you do” (Joshua 1:8). The expanded verse is promising us that if we keep the Word of God foremost in our minds, we will know what to do in every situation. Of course, the Word must be mixed with faith. Through Bible study, we gain the wisdom of God to conquer and master every challenge. Even if we take fifteen minutes to read one chapter, studying the Bible has enormous benefits to dispel anxiety and protect our day. Journaling strengthens our learning experience.

3)    PRAISING GOD KICKS THE DEVIL OUT! God joins us as we worship Him (Psalm 22:3), and His Word tells us that He has given us the garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair (Isaiah 61:3). Praise is a powerful spiritual weapon. When we begin to praise and thank God out loud for all our blessings, we regain our sanity. Playing praise music and singing to God has a similar effect.

4)    GUARD YOUR MIND CAREFULLY. “We take every thought captive and make it obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). Negative emotions are connected to negative thought patterns. We must train ourselves to stop (cut off) negative defeating thoughts immediately! The Bible says, “Cast them down!” God is never negative.  Negative thoughts and emotions are from Satan. They are demonic. Just say, no! The Bible says, do this instead, “Think about good things” (Philippians 4:8). Even in times of adversity, we must dare to have faith, which means we choose to trust in Christ for peace and a perfect outcome.

5)    STAND ON A SCRIPTURE. God’s Word is true. Find one scripture that you can memorize, stand on and say out loud in times of adversity. Repeat it over and over. Once, when I was facing financial challenges, I taped this scripture on the wall to my home office. “Anyone who trusts in Jesus will never be put to shame” ( ). I would sit at my desk and glance at it during the day. Sometimes I would say it out loud so that all of creation could be my witness. Over time, I was delivered miraculously delivered from that trial! God honored my faith.

6)    USE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY. Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name, they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues” (Mark 16:17). As a believer, we can cast out any demon that is seeking to oppress us. If we feel overwhelmed, we can say with authority, “In the Name of Jesus, I command fear, doubt, worry, anxiety, and depression to leave – right now!” Then expect it to leave. Then turn on your praise and worship music and go on with your day.

7)    PRAY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. Praying in tongues allows the Holy Spirit to intercede in prayer on our behalf (Romans 8:26). The Bible says we should “Earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual gifts” (1 Corinthians 10:5), and “Your Father in heaven will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him “(1 Corinthians 14:1). In Mark 16:17 above, it says that praying in tongues follows them that believe. This underscores the fact that praying in the Holy Spirit was given to the entire church for edification. If you have not been filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues, seek someone who does pray in tongues. They can lay hands on you for the impartation of this gift. Praying in tongues is a powerful weapon in our arsenal against the demonic attack of anxiety and depression. We will get to heaven without praying in tongues. We can walk in a higher level of spiritual authority if we allow the Holy Spirit to pray on our behalf (in His own spiritual language).

8)    AVOID NEGATIVE STRIFE-FILLED CONVERSATIONS AND WORDS. In the New Testament, we are commanded to walk in love with everyone. God’s commandment to love others as we love ourselves fulfills all ten commandments at once. Additionally, we know that the tongue can bring death and life (Proverbs 18:21). Words can bring healing; additionally, they can kill a person or destroy a marriage. This means that we cannot speak negatively about others or ourselves and expect joy or blessings to follow.

9)    PARTICIPATE IN ONGOING CHRISTIAN COUNSELING AND/OR OTHER CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP. One of the most prevalent attributes I’ve observed in depressed people is isolation. The enemy convinces people who are hurting that they should avoid the group fellowship of attending church, attending Bible studies, or even therapy. When we resist the desire to isolate ourselves, we begin to overthrow every force that seeks to oppress us. God never intended for any of His children to be lonely and depressed. Isolation is a trick of the devil. When we decide to fight anxiety and depression, we mustn’t be too proud to seek help. The Bible reminds us, “And let us not neglect meeting together and encouraging one another” (Hebrews 10:25).

10) INCORPORATE AUDIO TECHNOLOGY INTO YOUR DAY. One of my primary weapons against satanic attacks and against anxiety is listening to the Bible on audio. I listen to the Bible on audio as I fall asleep at night, and when I awake in the morning. I listen as I’m getting dressed in the morning. While traveling or washing dishes, I listen to Christian sermons, teachings and consume scores of Christian digital books via audio. Audio is a game-changer if you want to bombard your mind with knowledge and the truth of God’s Word. When we are listening to the Word of God in faith, there is no entryway for the defeating lies of the devil.

When I’m attacked by overwhelm or anxiety, I turn to Jesus. I give all my concerns to Him. I force myself to stop worrying and release my faith knowing that He is taking over. I begin to listen to my audio Bible non-stop. I praise God for His presence in my life, and I confess the truth out loud, which is, “Nothing is impossible for God” (Luke 1:37). The Bible says, “Submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). When it comes to anxiety and depression, God has given us faith as our most potent weapon.

You may say, “Wow, that’s a lot to do!” Actually, it isn’t.  As we practice a few of these suggestions, we gradually incorporate more. One of the most surprising outcomes is that we are being healed emotionally and learning to solve challenges that once seemed impossible.

In the first book of Joshua, the Lord tells Joshua, “Be strong and courageous.” When we do this, God releases our ability to walk in the power, love, and sound judgment that He has freely given us (2 Timothy 1:7).

5 Biblical Steps To Overcome Adversity

Gail-King-5-Biblical-Steps-To-Overcome-Adversity

Each day, we face challenges. They may appear in our family, in personal relationships, or on the job. We must know the tools that God has freely given believers to remove every obstacle in our path.

The Bible reminds us that we are never wrestling with flesh and blood people. That is a deception. We are wrestling with rulers of the darkness, which are demonic forces (Ephesians 6:12-13).  In other words, it is Satan that is our enemy, never any specific human being. The enemy does not have a body, he can only manifest his treachery (against us) through a human being. Often people who don’t have a personal relationship with God are totally unaware that their behavior is serving demons and not themselves.  Consider this truth, sin has consequences which can prove devastating to the sinner.

God’s sons and daughters can recognize the work of the enemy and overturn it.  When facing threats of any kind (or issues and obstacles) here are five Biblical steps that overcome adversity.

We must give the problem to God.  We can cast all (100%) of our worries on Christ, for He loves us deeply (1 Peter 5:7).  This means that we must stop worrying because worry extinguishes our faith.  It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).  We know we are successfully trusting God for our deliverance when we choose to stop worrying

Repent.  Often we worry because we feel responsible for a portion of what we are experiencing. For instance, we may have neglected a duty or said the wrong thing.  We don’t always know the cause of a challenge, but it’s excellent to pray, “Father God, I repent of anything I may have done or neglected to create this situation. I receive your forgiveness right now and I trust You completely, to deliver me.”

Walk in love with everyone.  The Word of God says, “Conquer evil by doing good” (Romans 12:21, NLT). Satan loves to stir up strife and plant resentment in our hearts because he knows that unforgiveness creates long-term havoc in our lives, and it is a sin.  As challenging as it may seem, make a list of everyone who has offended you since birth and say out loud, “Father, the Bible says that I must forgive others if I want You to forgive me of all my sins. Therefore, I forgive everyone who has ever sinned against me, hurt me, or disappointed me.  Cleanse my heart of all unforgiveness and resentment.  Just as You have saved me, I pray that all these people will be saved too. Thank You, Father, for forgiving all of us, in Jesus’ name, Amen.” This simple prayer of love, humility and faith (when said sincerely) will greatly please God.

Stand on the Word of God.  Find a scriptural promise of God to stand on. Keep repeating it out loud and to yourself all day, especially when you are tempted to worry.  By speaking the very Words of God out loud in faith, you are destroying (knocking down) unseen forces of evil.

Here are some favorite scriptures.

“Nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).
“My God supplies all my needs” (Philippians, 4:19).
“Nothing can harm me” (Luke 10:19).
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
“I have the victory” (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Act in faith.  The Word of God says, “Faith without work is dead”(James 2:26).  God may tell us to wait for His further instructions. During this time, we should be praising and thanking God for his deliverance. Praise is a powerful form of action.  It is important to thank Him before the answer comes.  This releases amazing faith. Finally, acting in faith means that we proceed right now as if we already possessed what we have requested from God.  One of the best ways to receive a blessing is to prepare for it immediately. Praise and preparation confirm our faith.

Be on guard.  Overcome temptations to share negative information and unbelief by complaining, gossiping, and slandering others.  Realize that God did not give us a spirit of fear, He gave us a spirit of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).  Fear, doubt and worry are completely evil.  At a spiritual level, these destructive habits actually strengthen the very challenges we are canceling.

In summary, we can literally cut down the enemy through repentance, by walking in love with everyone, by standing on the Word of God and by speaking God’s Word instead of worrying or repeating the problem.  This seems simple, but it works.

May God bless you abundantly as you trust in Christ and in the Word of God to overcome every adversity.

9 Tips to Hear God Clearly

Below are nine tips that help us to hear God more clearly.  As believers, we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) and we enjoy access to communicate with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit day and night.

Pray Consistently: Daily prayer allows God to communicate His special instructions to us regarding our life and circumstances. God told us that we could come boldly to His throne. We can ask Him specific questions. We can expect to be heard and helped. Set aside a few minutes of your prayer time to listen for God’s instructions.

Acknowledge the Holy Spirit: The Spirit of God teaches us, comforts us and, gives us the power to do God’s will. We can talk to Him just as we speak to Jesus and our Father God. Talk directly to the Holy Spirit during your prayer time and ask Him questions. He is in you, and He yearns to tell you everything that God has planned for your day.

Read the Bible: Those who read and believe the Bible can hear the voice of God through scripture. As they stand on His Word, they receive miracles through the (written) promises of God. One man of God said, “It matters very much how you approach the Bible.” It is vital (to success) that believers finish reading the entire Bible and independently study scripture regularly. The Bible is inexpensive and available in audio and e-book formats and within phone apps. There are many free electronic Bibles online. Reading the Holy Bible allows us to access the mind of Christ and to draw upon this wisdom (later) at a moment’s notice because we have it stored in our hearts.

Have Faith In Jesus & His Love: Trust in Christ’s love for us.

Expect an Answer: When believers pray to God in faith, and according to His will, we know that He’s heard us, and the answer is “Yes!” On some occasions, we must practice patience as we wait on God’s perfect solution.

Attend A Local Church & Study Independently: As we hear the Word of God through sermons, it helps us to know the will of God. Faith comes from hearing the word of God (Romans, 10:17).

Be Humble and Teachable: We are more receptive when we clear our minds to approach God (and His word) with an open mind. To hear God clearly, sometimes we must be willing to abandon preconceived notions.

Know When to Wait: When we feel that we have not heard God clearly, sometimes that is a sign to wait. Many times, God is working things out behind the scenes. He changes hearts and circumstances. If we don’t have peace of mind concerning a situation, generally, we should not move forward. The Spirit of God may guide us through unrest (as a warning) or through peace as a signal to move forward. However, we must be careful to subjugate our own desires, making sure that our motives and actions line up with the written Word of God.

Identify Procrastination: The Word of God encourages us to be both courageous and cautious. It says that we should not tell our neighbor to come back tomorrow if we can help him today (Proverbs 3:28, NLT). Trust the Spirit of God (through prayer and peace of mind) to warn us when to wait or to give us the joy to proceed.

The good news is that God does not want us to feel guilty, inadequate, or overwhelmed in our loving service to Him. In fact, the purpose of this message is to help you relax. As we trust in God’s love, our faith increases, and it becomes much easier to hear God and receive His blessings.

Jesus told us that His burden was light. God has already filled our hearts with peace, but we must trust in Him to experience it. The Bible admonishes us to cease from all our endless striving and worrying. Instead, we must allow Jesus to love us, speak to us through scripture, and empower us by His Holy Spirit. Instead of working harder, Jesus wants to change our circumstances and give us solutions supernaturally.

7 Priceless Blessings That Come from Having A Church Home

I often speak with young men and women who are working hard to live a good and upright life. In each believer’s life, there are specific challenges, but overall, we are confronted by only one deficit. That deficit is the ability to hear God clearly and know how to proceed. No matter what we are experiencing, God is not confused. He knows the immediate road to peace, provision, and success.

Before I got saved, I refused to attend church. I wasn’t ready to change, and I didn’t want to confront my issues. I wasn’t sure I’d fit in. I was scared and concluded that attending church was an annoying waste of time. I told myself that it was full of hypocrites anyway. Today, I realize that Satan planted all of those lies in my mind to keep me miserable, isolated, confused, and deceived.

Once I hit rock bottom and decided to be right and do right – I literally ran to a church to get help! I have been in church for almost twenty years now. I have never regretted having an intimate relationship with God, increasing my wisdom, and befriending genuinely loving people. All of this and much more has come from my church attendance. Through our local church, God restored my peace of mind, my hope, and my direction. Most importantly, I gained the dignity that comes from our knowing that we are in right standing with God and everyone else

In times of crisis, the Lord gave us His Word (in the Bible) for wisdom and His local church, where we receive practical support. The benefits of having a local church home are too numerous to mention!

If you don’t currently have a church home, ask yourself, “Would growing in wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and discernment help me out here? Would I benefit from the peace of mind of belonging to a family of truly loving and generous people who are devoted to supporting our family and my life purpose?”

Please join me in this prayer, “Father God, thank you for sending me help! I ask that your Holy Spirit direct me to a local church where my family and I can thrive. Remove all barriers from our lives and grant us peace of mind. Lord, please guide me and give me the ability to trust You in everything. Amen.”

Seven Priceless Blessings From Having a Church Home

  • TO BE BORN AGAIN (saved) and baptized. To significantly enhance our knowledge of God and to please God through praise & worship.
  • TO DISCOVER OUR DIVINE PURPOSE in life by taking our predestined place in God’s family. To be discipled, developed, and to serve when we feel we can be a blessing.
  • TO CHANGE OUR LIFE COURSE and the direction of our marriage and family through Biblical wisdom and practical support from other believers.
  • TO DEVELOP NEW FRIENDS by fellowshipping with believers that are loving, caring, generous, and loyal. Some people meet spouses in various church ministries.
  • TO RECEIVE SUSTAINED HELP in times of need in the form of free counseling, prayer for healing and other concerns, direct financial assistance from member care, comfort, and spiritual guidance.
  • TO RECEIVE HEALING in our body, heart, and relationships through the application of wisdom from the Word of God. Access to the power of prayers of agreement.
  • TO ENABLE GOD’S DIVINE PROTECTION over our family, health, and finances as we learn to live by faith and to be directed by God’s wisdom.

If you don’t currently have a church home, ask God’s Holy Spirit to guide you and ask people in your community for referrals. Visit local church websites and see if you can stream their live services online. Perhaps you can preview the Pastor’s messages on YouTube. Most importantly, don’t put it off. Step out and actually visit churches on Sunday or weeknights. As stated before, having a loving church home is one of the best decisions you will ever make!

5 Questions to Unveil Divine Direction

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6, NKJV).

Below, I have shared five steps that help us receive divine direction in any matter. Of course, the Word of God is most prominent. This explains why all believers are admonished to read the Bible daily. Second, while we read the Bible, the Holy Spirit has an opportunity to speak to us and point out scriptures. Just recently, I started to study one topic in my Bible but found myself meditating a new scripture that was given to me (impromptu by God), in answer to my prayers. The scripture that was shown to me turned my life around!

A well-known pastor, the late George Muller, was known for keeping a prayer request journal. Most importantly, he was known for the fact that so many of his prayers were answered. He was truly a man of faith. When he explained his method for seeking direction, he stated that our reasoning must include the Word of God (as stated in the Bible) and what the Holy Spirit is telling us (in our hearts). The Word of God and the Spirit of God never contradicts themselves.

In addition to studying the Word, it is vital to know and associate with trusted men and women of God. God is our Father, but His Spirit often leads us to an earthly spiritual father, such as a pastor at a local church.

Too many young believers avoid church, not knowing that through church membership, they can directly connect with loving spiritual fathers (God Himself, pastors, ministers, elders). Additionally, most churches offer free counseling from a pastor or associate minister.

Here are the five questions we can ask ourselves to unveil divine direction.

  1. THE BIBLE – What does the Bible say? What actual scriptures apply?
  2. THE HOLY SPIRIT – Have I prayed and asked God directly what I should do? What is the Holy Spirit urging me to do?
  3. CIRCUMSTANCES – Have I considered all the options? Write down the options and the pros and cons of each.
  4. WISE COUNSEL – Do I have all the facts I need to make this decision? Would additional information be helpful? Without procrastinating, should I get more information before I decide? Should I seek counsel from a spiritual leader or professional that I trust? What information would help me decide? Write it down.
  5. STEPPING OUT IN FAITH – If I made a decision at this moment (based on the Bible, God’s leading, and the facts I have), what should I do? Is this solution entirely honorable?

Finally, we must be careful to avoid procrastination. Faith without action is no faith at all (James 2:17). Too many of us have asked God for something but have been waiting on Him for months or years. Or worst still, we may have given up all hope. What?

We must go back to the drawing board and ask God, “Lord, what did you tell me to do? Where did I miss it?” He may want us to work on our character or do something that makes no sense at all.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5, NLT).

God may tell us to stop, to go forth, to obtain more information, to change directions, to wait or give us other instructions. Through prayer though, we give Him an opportunity to speak.I

have often found that even if I’m not able to start today, God will give me an interim assignment like preparation, taking baby steps, prayer, fasting, or giving. The bottom line is hearing God, which is not difficult if we are willing to sit down (quietly) and listen.

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me” (Psalm 50:15, NASB).

How To Find & Attract Love

Finding and attracting love is not as difficult as it seems. However, it is intentional. God is love, and He created all of us in His likeness and image (Genesis 1:27). At our core, we are intrinsically wired to give and receive love.

Here are four tips that help to find and attract love.

1) Forgive – Unforgiveness repels love. Forgiveness helps to restore relationships. By forgiving quickly, we maintain the loving relationships that we currently have. All of us are tempted to be offended, but longterm, it robs us of life. Yes, there is a place for creating boundaries, but ninety-nine percent of offense is pride (Proverbs 13:10).

2) Be Loving – Loving people attract loving people. Loving people smile, are helpful, and care about the concerns of others. Friendly people look for ways to serve others and help them feel good about themselves.

3) Be Generous – Generosity isn’t always a matter of giving money. We can be generous in sincere appreciation and encouragement. We can be generous in doing small acts of kindness.

4) Make New Friends – Making new friends is paramount. As time allows, we should remain involved in groups. We may belong to a singles group, a ministry group, a reading club, etc. There are hundreds of local groups that are novel, exciting, and interesting. The point is that we should avoid isolation.

As believers, we should gravitate toward Christian based groups and activities as much as possible. Otherwise, we may find ourselves feeling detached as new friends exhibit socially acceptable behaviors like using four-letter-words.

Finally, the essential adjustment we should make toward finding and attracting love is to work at being loving – 100% of the time!  The Word of God says, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8, NIV).

YOU HAVE ENOUGH FAITH

Recently a darling friend said to me, “I don’t have (much) faith.” I explained to her that Biblically speaking, right now she does in fact have faith (Romans 12:3).  For instance if you ride in cars or on planes, you are using your faith to believe that it won’t crash. Each day we use our faith in hundreds of experiences that we take for granted.

It’s important for each of us to know that we do in fact have faith (Romans 12:3).  Our faith in God and His Word can be increased each time we hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17). If we don’t regularly hear Bible lessons or study the Bible personally, we may not have much opportunity to recharge our faith in God or His Word. Thus, we could began to falsely believe that we don’t have any faith or that we don’t have enough faith. To experience your faith, all that is needed is for you to use it.  Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. Your prayers are powerful.

Jesus told His disciples that even a mustard seed (tiny bit) of faith could move a mountain (Matthew 17:25).  We don’t need great faith to be saved, delivered, healed or rescued by God.  Our loving Father God meets us where we are.  God is eager to hear and answer our prayers.  Step on out knowing that right now you possess enough faith to please God and to move a mountain!

JESUS HAS NEVER LOST A CASE! (Physical Healing)

Too many of us are living with pains, aches and sickness when God is ABLE and we KNOW it. If you are a believer, put your foot down about this. God wants to heal us more than we want to be well. He will tell us what to do. SAINTS, NEVER GIVE UP!

Four things we can do right now to be healed:
1) PUT GOD FIRST. Many of us are ill because we are relying on everyone/everything but God.
2) STAND ON THE WORD. The Word of God tells us that believers are already healed and can walk in divine health now. In order to experience this, we must believe it (1 Peter 2:24). Review the scriptural promises of God for healing. Let them sink deep into your soul and memorize them if you must. The Word cannot work (within us) if we don’t know it.
3) ASK GOD FOR DAILY GUIDANCE. We’ve got to have a prayer life. If our prayers have gone unanswered, we can ask God, “Lord what do I need to do for my complete healing?” He will tell us (James 1:5).
4) UNDERSTAND YOUR AUTHORITY IN CHRIST.  Thousands of wonderful believers live with pain and are sick because they don’t feel righteous before God. Repent of any ongoing sin of commission or omission that has you feeling unrighteous.  Once you’ve sincerely repented, you are restored to right standing – immediately. No guilt. There is never a reason for a believer to feel unrighteous when we can repent of anything. We are covered in the blood Jesus and set free. We are not in bondage. Nothing can bind us – especially not sickness!.

Claim your God-given right to health! God wants you well!

NO WORRIES! (What To Do Instead – 3 Steps)

1 Peter 5:7 is one of the most profound scriptures in the entire Bible. Everyone should commit this scripture to memory: “Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”

In this scripture, God is telling us how to retain our joy, how to stay healthy, how to live longer, how to walk with Him, and most importantly – how to achieve answered prayer!

Believers are never to worry about people, money, careers, spouses, children, parents, death or even catastrophes. We are never to indulge the sin of worry.  Worry does not make anything better – few people realize this but naturally and spirituallyit makes matters worse.

The downside of worry is that (through stress), worry harms the health, it kills our joy, it can cause rash unwise decisions and it dishonors God by provingwe do not trust Him. Worry invites stress, doubt, unbelief and a host of evil outcomes. Worry is closely associated with fear and FEAR is not from God. 2 Tim 1:7 tells us that, “God did not give us a spirit of fear, He gave us the Spirit of power, love and sound judgment.”

What DO we do when we don’t know WHAT to do? (Phil 4:6-7) gives us the Biblical response to problems in 3 steps: First, it reminds us not to be anxious about anything or 1) Do not worry, 2)   Pray & tell God what you need and 3) Thank Him for what He’s already done.

Let me explain. We are not thanking God for the dilemma; we are counting our past blessings and giving God heartfelt praise (ahead of the outcome) for His Presence and His Power to help us! The Bible tells us that praise unites believers with Almighty God and it is the ultimate evidence of our faith.

Once we give a matter to God, we can expect a miracle.  But we must never allow anyone’s opinion to quench our faith – even authority figures with “so called” evidence.  Don’t even agree with other’s negative statements. Remain silent or tell them outright, “I’m trusting God.”

After you’ve prayed, no matter what happens, remain positive, talk positive and refuse any worry or anxiety.  When tempted to worry, say out loud, “Jesus, I love you and I trust you!”

For the rest of your life – NO WORRIES!  You will please God, enjoy greater physical health, and see miracles!Attachments area
