Have you ever been down so far you couldn’t see up? I hope not. Unfortunately, I have..and more than once. Even though it may not have been the end of the world, at these times, it feels like it. It could be a relationship breakup, it could be an impending financial crisis or a health crisis. Sometimes we feel “all washed up” and at that moment, we are sure no human can help. Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” That “rest” includes the perfect solution to our challenge! The next time you are tempted to power through – don’t. Give it to Jesus. Ask for His help in faith and expect the best. It really works!
